Because art education is limited in school curricula, Tesserae Studios has partnered with Evanston Art Center to offer the "After School Art Club". Led by Evanston Art Center and Tesserae Studios art instructors, the classes will be hands-on, multimedia and focus on recreating the works of renowned artists. Students will learn about the artists, develop their own artistic skills, and have loads of fun! There are ten (10) once-a -week sessions based on age. Wednesdays are for developmental ages 6–9, and Thursdays are for ages 9–12. Each class runs from 3:45 to 5:15 pm. Sign up at www.tesseraestudios.org under Events. Space is limited to 10 students per class. Make-up classes can be arranged through Tesserae Studios. Need-based scholarships are available through the Evanston Art Center.
